Provincial Nominee Program (Skilled)
Overview
The Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) offers a swift path to Canadian Permanent Residency. Our firm, specializing in global resettlement and immigration services, provides comprehensive assistance for this program. The PNP caters to various immigration pathways, including investment-based, employment-based, and specific situation-based immigration.
Collaboration with Canadian Provinces:
Canada collaborates with its provinces to tailor territorial and provincial skilled immigration agreements. These agreements address the unique employment and capital investment needs of each region, encouraging skilled workers worldwide to contribute to the Canadian economy.
Our Services:
We guide you through the PNP process, explaining eligibility, application steps, and successful residency attainment in Canada. Our expert team possesses extensive knowledge of Canada’s provincial PNPs, ensuring successful applications.
PNP Availability:
Currently, the PNP is available in the following Canadian provinces and territories:
- Alberta
- British Columbia
- Manitoba
- Newfoundland and Labrador
- Prince Edward Island
- Yukon
- New Brunswick
- Nova Scotia
- Saskatchewan
PNP Employer Nomination:
Under PNP, employers can nominate candidates for specific skilled positions. These nominations are submitted to participating provinces for work permit sponsorship in Canada. The general requirements include:
- Positions that Canadian citizens or Permanent Residents cannot fill.
- Full-time, permanent job offers.
- Candidates must have the necessary qualifications and work experience.
- Jobs must meet provincial employment and wage standards.
Application Process:
After provincial sponsorship, a formal application to Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) for Permanent Resident Visa is required. Note that provincial sponsorship does not guarantee visa approval, as CIC makes the final decision.
Additional Requirements for Permanent Residency:
- Medical examination.
- Proof of good character.
- Compliance with Canadian and Provincial laws.
Immigration Pathways:
There are two main pathways to immigrate to Canada as a provincial nominee: as a skilled worker with a job offer or as a business entrepreneur. Many provinces also offer special categories for students seeking permanent residency and work opportunities post-study. Family ties in Canada can also qualify you for this program.
Benefits of PNP Nomination:
Being nominated under PNP is beneficial, especially if you don’t qualify under the Federal Skilled Worker Class due to occupation or point requirements. Each Canadian province and territory offers unique PNP options, which we assist our clients in navigating.
