Federal Skilled Trade Class
Overview
The Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP) is one of the economic immigration programs designed for skilled workers who are qualified in a skilled trade and intend to become permanent residents of Canada. Introduced in 2013, the FSTP is an important effort undertaken by the Canadian federal and provincial government to address labour shortages in trades occupations.
